Privacy Policy

CutOnce is operated by Verik Labs LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use cutonce.app and the CutOnce application.
Information We Collect
Usage data: We use Google Analytics on the cutonce.app website to collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, features used, device type, browser, and general location (country/region). In the CutOnce mobile app, we use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage and crash data. None of this data identifies you personally.
Attribution data: To understand which ads and campaigns lead people to install CutOnce, the mobile app uses AppsFlyer, a mobile measurement provider. AppsFlyer assigns an anonymous AppsFlyer device identifier and, on Android, reads the Google Play install referrer to match an install to the campaign that drove it. When you start a trial or complete a purchase, AppsFlyer also receives that event together with the purchase amount, the product purchased, and the store order ID, so we can measure which campaigns lead to purchases. CutOnce runs AppsFlyer in non-tracking mode: it does not read your Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or Google Advertising ID (GAID), and we do not show a tracking-permission prompt because no cross-app tracking takes place.
We do not collect: precise location data, contacts, or any data from your device beyond the analytics and attribution described above. Payment processing is handled by Apple and Google. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Purchase and Trial Data
If you start a free trial or make an in-app purchase, CutOnce stores a small amount of purchase state on your device: whether Full Access is owned, and the start date of your trial so we can tell when it ends. We do not collect or transmit purchase tokens, your Apple ID, or your Google account identifier. As described under Attribution data above, when a trial or purchase occurs our measurement provider AppsFlyer receives that event with the purchase amount, the product, and the store order ID so we can measure campaign performance. All payment processing happens through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and we do not operate a receipt validation server of our own.
